JAVA

JAVA. No, unfortunately not the tasty kind. It's the computer kind, a programing language. I have never touched programing, I've not a clue as to how one would start other than buying a "Beginner's JAVA for dummies" book.
Well, this may soon be my job. (or so I hope)
SCARRY!!!
Well, not too bad, but it is certainly a new frontier for me. I've grown up around computers my entire life so I am very comfortable learning most computer involving skills. But most of my computer skills involve Microsoft applications, internet, and most of all graphics design. My all favorite thing to do is go out with my camera and take all kinds of fun and unusual pictures and then transfer them to a computer where I play with them in Adobe Photoshop. This is something I have been unable to do for some time since I haven't the equipment right now, but if I get the chance again I will be one very happy individual.
But programing...sheez! I've been told by some (and agree after looking at it a little myself) that programing is learning a new language. I've never been very quick with languages other than reading and playing music so this will be all very new for me.
If I do end up with this job I'll be very very very busy (4-6 weeks basic training in Pendleton OR, then 4-6 months on site training, TX or CA). So I might not be blogging very often but I'll still try to get out those weird questions.
PS. Please don't ever put your coffee this close to your keyboard. It could be SOOOOO disastrous!

Question of the day: What is red, orange, purple, and yellow. Sings. Dances. And makes people happy? (There is no right answer, just your answer, be creative!)
