There was a time once, when I was able to take professional dance lessons. It was during a summer about ten years ago. It was one of the best times of my life. At that point I was an extreme introvert and as such kept everything that made me me to myself. Most people then would have known me as the mousy nobody. But being able to take those dance lessons was wonderful. I found a way to let "me" out. I took ballet and tap. The tap was preformed at the end of the summer and the ballet was not. I loved both, but I loved ballet the most. It's like an ultimate expression in motion, no words needed. I was unable to continue with lesson after that summer, but the experience will remain with me forever.
Ballet
Music that whispers to your heart,
"wake up"
Soft shoes to glide in,
Crimson silk to let the art in motion spin.
Ballet
A moment on toe,
time stands still,
Arms raised and graceful,
shaped by a lover.
Dance
Gliding across a sunlit room,
His Spirit flows alongside her,
Caught away to a world unseen,
two dancers fade away.

I love the ballet. It's one of my favorites. I took ballet for 9 years from the time I was 5 years old.
Driscoll girls were definitely not made for anything as graceful as ballet, but I must admit that I do love to dance... just nothing that requires too much balance and poise!
