Maybe the definition of what love really is has to be redefined. Our love is only a shadow of True and Pure love. The other thing is that in order for Love to win someone, the recipient has to be receptive. But whether receptive or not, real Love doesn't change. Maybe that's part of what "tough love" is. It can be draining if the other is non-receptive, but Love remains the constant. We are praying.
